Q [PlayHaptic] What is the difference from conventional motor vibration?
A

- Traditional motorized oscillations produce simple oscillations that vibrate maximum only in the resonant frequency band, whereas haptic oscillations vibrate at frequencies in a wide range to match the sound, allowing for a delicate oscillation.

- Traditional motors are slow to respond, so the vibration does not match the actual screen and sound. However, the vibration module used in PlayHaptic can reliably feel haptic feedback with vibrations that match the screen and sound.

Q [PlayHaptic] What is Real time vibration?
A

Vibration modules used in general products have a time delay when vibrating.
This is due to the inertia of the vibration motor.
When the motor stops and tries to make the next vibration, it continues to make residual vibrations due to the inertial force of the motor.
This residual vibration must stop and vibrate again, resulting in a time delay.
However, unlike ordinary vibration devices, PlayHaptic has a fast vibration response speed, so it converts the sound generated in conjunction with the image on the screen displayed in the content into vibration with little time delay and delivers it to the user.

Q [PlayHaptic] What is Sound based vibration system?
A

It is a vibration transmission method based on sound, and vibration varies depending on the frequency range of sound,

and our product is developed to feel the natural vibration of sound through volume control.

Q [PlayHaptic] What is Haptic?
A

Haptic technology is a technology that allows users to feel the touch of electronic devices such as motion and vibration through touch,

and allows them to feel the movement of electronic devices through touch.
The haptic effect applied to the game can be seen from a different perspective as a machine (mobile device such as a smartphone) touching a person.
This allows you to feel various kinds of touch.

Q [CONSOLE] Is there a specific smartphone available?
A

The haptic console is limited in width (long side) size due to mounting problems, and can be used regardless of smartphone model.
Haptic console is a product that is used by installing a smartphone by spreading it from side to side.
If the width (long side) is very small or large, it cannot be fitted and cannot be used.
Based on the size of the smartphone device body, only devices with a width (long side) of at least 140 mm and a maximum of 163 mm are available.

The new PLUS model, in which the haptic module protrudes outward, will be sized according to the size of the recently released smartphone.
Any smartphone with a minimum width (long side) of 144mm to a maximum size of 174mm can be used regardless of the model.

Q [CONSOLE] Can I also use foldable phones (Galaxy-Z Flip, Galaxy Fold)?
A

We don't recommend it because it can be too much for the product.
Foldable devices may be limited in use because their sizes are not common depending on their application.

Q [CONSOLE] What is the difference between the vibration functions of X-BOX, PS, and Nintendo?
A

- The vibrations of the X-BOX, PlayStation, and Nintendo are meant to be heard only in certain situations in the game.

In contrast, haptic vibrations carry vibrations from all sounds.

- Traditional X-BOX, PlayStation, and Nintendo vibrations are limited to each manufacturer's products, and only make the promised simple vibrations.

X-BOX can only be used with the X-BOX game controller, and the PlayStation and Nintendo game controllers work only with their respective game consoles.

And it's simply a strong motor vibration, so you don't feel a real haptic effect due to the lack of sound and concurrency on the screen.

On the other hand, the haptic console perfectly synchronizes the image of the screen with the sound effect by linking with the smartphone sound without delay of time.

You can experience various stereoscopic vibrations.

Q [CONSOLE] Can I use the haptic console and wireless earphones at the same time?
A

If dual audio functionality is provided (equipped) on the smartphone, it can be used simultaneously.

Currently, only S8 and later models are supported for Samsung smartphones.

Please refer to the enclosed user guide for how to set up dual audio when using wireless earphones and headsets.

If you are using a smartphone that does not provide dual audio function, you can plug your wired earphone into the earphone connection port of the haptic console.

You can use the haptic console without earphones, but if you use the haptic console at the same time in a quiet environment (public space such as bus, subway, etc.),

Enjoy a more realistic haptic effect.

Q [CONSOLE] Is it heavy?
A

The body weight of the haptic console is about 157g, which is about the weight of one smartphone.
It is heavy enough to carry it in the pouch provided as a component.

Q [CONSOLE] How strong and adjustable is the vibration?
A

Motor (normal) vibration continues to export artificially stored vibration waveforms.

The vibration of our haptic console may feel a little weak because it adjusts and transmits the vibration according to the height of the sound from the smartphone.

However, unlike motor vibration, you can feel realistic three-dimensional vibration even in all surrounding sounds.

Since vibration intensity is linked to the volume control of the smartphone, the vibration automatically increases when the volume is increased and weakens when the volume is lowered.

Q [CONSOLE] Do I need to install a separate program (app)?
A

Our product can be operated without installing any programs on the mobile device used by the customer.

This is due to the real-time vibration based on sound.

Our JH47 Haptic Console allows you to control the intensity of vibration by controlling the volume control.

It converts sound into vibration in all situations, allowing the device to experience haptic effects.

Through this effect, you can enjoy watching videos, playing games, or enjoying music by increasing your immersion.

Q [CONSOLE] What is surround vibration?
A

Stereo sound from a smartphone is transmitted to the left and right handles of the haptic console to vibrate the vibration independently.

You can use this method to experience a grander, more realistic left and right three-dimensional haptic effect.

This also allows you to adjust the intensity of the vibration by adjusting the volume.

Q [MOUSE] Will I need a driver setup in order to use the mouse?
A

No driver setup is needed.
The PC will automatically detect the mouse as soon as you plug it in to the USB port.

Q [MOUSE] The mouse is not vibrating.
A

1) Please check if the sound (volume) is turned on.

The mouse vibrates along with the sound, so the sound (volume) has to be turned on.
And please have the sound (volume) set to at least 30% minimum.

 2) Please check the bottom surface of the mouse and check if the Vibration mode is set to “On” or ”VIB+SOUND.”

If the switch is set to either “ON” or “VIB+SOUND,” the LED lamp located in the middle of the mouse wheel will turn on,

so you will be able to know if it is working.

3) Please check if the audio jack is connected to the PC.

The mouse vibration works along with the sound.

Please check if the audio cable of the vibration mouse is well connected to the audio output port of the PC.

4) Please check if there is an earphone connected to the back of the desktop.

The ports located in the front side of the desktop are manly used as top-priority for earphones,

and this may lead to having the audio ports located back of the desktop to become stuck.

Try connecting to the back of the desktop and connect the earphone to the mouse gender changer.

5) Please check if a USB headset is connected.

If a headset is connected, you would have to change the PC Sound settings.

Q [MOUSE] I am hearing some sounds from the mouse. Is there a problem with the mouse?
A

The mouse will always make vibration and sounds, so if the sound is heard with vibration, there is no problem with the mouse.

On the bottom surface of the mouse, you will be able to see a “VIB+SOUND” mode.

If this mode is turned on, there will always be vibration and sound.

If you switch the mode to VIBRATION "ON", you will be able to use the mouse with only vibration and no sound.

Q [MOUSE] The mouse is not working. The PC is not detecting the mouse.
A

If the mouse is connected to the USB port located in front of the desktop, there could be some malfunction due to lack of voltage.

In this case, please try connecting the mouse to the USB port located in the back of the desktop.

Q [MOUSE] The vibration is weak.
A

The strong level of vibration depends on the sound volume.

If the sound volume is high, the vibration is strong, and if the sound volume is low, the vibration also gets weaker.

Q [MOUSE] If I connect the mouse audio jack into the PC audio port, where do I plug in my earphones?
A

There is a gender changer on the mouse cable. Please connect the earphones to the gender changer.
